business card?

i know about software and design business card for print on normal paper.
but
i dont know how to select material (paper)
i dont know how to apply a water resistent layer
i dont know how to print over plastic
i dont know tip and trick to make advance.
any one know where i can learn about it? or book i can buy?

You can buy business card paper for your printer at any office supply store. You can also buy “lamination sheets,” probably at the same place. You can then print out your cards, separate them, and use the lamination sheets to apply a plastic layer.
